Kyu Asakura House
Kyu Asakura House (Kyu Asakura-ke Jutaku, 旧朝倉家住宅) is the former residence of the Asakura family who were the landlord of this area. The prefix kyu means "former."
This traditional-style residence was built in 1919 by Asakura Torajiro, the then head of the family, who was also a rice dealer and later became a politician of the local government. The buildings standing on this site is designated as Important Cultural Properties.
It's a 5-minute walk from Tokyu Toyoko Line Daikan'yama Station.
