National Museum of Japanese History is a state-run museum focusing on Japanese history and folk custom. It displays so many miniature models of architecture from ancient to present that it takes several hours to walk through looking at them. I would have liked to highly recommend this place, but sorry to say, there are little explanations in foreign languages.
